Job Description
Resorts World Las Vegas is a premier luxury resort destination known for its exceptional hospitality, vibrant entertainment, and world-class amenities. Situated in the heart of Las Vegas, this resort combines modern grandeur with a commitment to delivering an unparalleled guest experience. As an iconic establishment in the hospitality and entertainment industry, Resorts World Las Vegas prides itself on maintaining high standards of service, excellence, and employee engagement. The resort boasts multiple dining venues, upscale accommodations, extensive gaming options, and a variety of entertainment spaces that cater to a diverse clientele seeking both relaxation and excitement. It is a large-scale operation where every team member plays an essential role in ensuring the property runs smoothly and that every guest interaction is memorable and positive.
The role of Cocktail Server at Resorts World Las Vegas is a dynamic position that encompasses providing elegant, warm, and responsive service to guests while efficiently managing beverage orders and financial transactions. The Cocktail Server acts as a critical link between guests and the bar team, ensuring that all orders are accurately taken and delivered promptly. This position requires a strong knowledge of beverages including wine, cocktails, and spirits, as well as excellent customer service skills to enhance guest satisfaction. Beyond order taking, the Cocktail Server is expected to employ suggestive selling techniques to promote daily specials and exclusive drinks, which contributes directly to the venue's marketing efforts during each shift.
As a Cocktail Server, you will engage in greeting guests professionally, collaborating closely with bartenders and other team members to maintain order accuracy, and ensuring that the dining and service areas under your responsibility are always clean and well-organized. Physical stamina is important as the job involves standing for prolonged periods, maneuvering trays and carts weighing up to 30 pounds, and working in varying environmental conditions such as noise and temperature fluctuations.
Moreover, Resorts World Las Vegas emphasizes the importance of embodying its core corporate values: every team member is regarded as an ambassador to the property, responsible for safety and security, cleanliness, and delivering outstanding guest experiences. As a part of their team, Cocktail Servers must comply with all company policies, maintain required licensing, and participate in training programs to uphold the high standards of service expected. This role offers an opportunity to work in a prestigious resort environment where your skills in beverage service, salesmanship, and hospitality will be cultivated and recognized. The employment is typically full-time or part-time, with shifts that may include nights, weekends, and holidays to cater to the busy schedule of a luxury resort.
