The role of a Cocktail Server - Pool at The Venetian Resort is vital to maintaining the high standards of guest service the property is known for. Job Requirements
- 21 years of age
- proof of authorization or eligibility to work in the United States
- high school diploma or equivalent
- must be able to obtain and maintain a health card, alcohol awareness (TAM) card and any other certification or license, as required by law or policy
- 1-2 years cocktail server or food server experience in a high-volume cash handling setting required, or an equivalent combination of work experience
- experience in a hotel casino environment preferred
- must possess superior customer service skills
- previous experience at a pool or nightclub preferred
- must possess brand and or recipe knowledge and be familiar with customer ordering practices for beers, wines and spirits
- must possess knowledge of attractions or restaurants in the Las Vegas area and provided by The Venetian Resort
- must have the ability to speak and to listen in a public forum, basic math skills are required, and ability to handle cash and accurately make change
- must maintain cleanliness of work area at all times
- must be able to work with others, communicate well, give direction, review the work of others, and provide guidance and counsel when needed to achieve department goals and objectives

- must be familiar with domestic and import beers, different types of wine, brand name spirits and garnishments
- provides accurate directions and information for guest inquires and is knowledgeable about all aspects of Venetian and Palazzo services, features, attractions, promotions and special events
