Job Requirements
- Must complete background check and licensing process required by Delaware Lottery
- Must be able to wear assigned uniform comfortably
- Must be able to walk and stand for at least an eight-hour shift
- Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs and perform physical tasks such as bending, reaching, pulling, pushing, kneeling, squatting, and grasping
- Must be able to work flexible schedules including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to work in a high volume, fast-paced environment with diverse clientele
- Must be able to handle all guest related situations professionally
- Must be able to work in varying work environments with noise, music, lighting, and climate control variations
Job Qualifications
- Previous wait staff experience preferred
- Must possess an ABC Servers card or equivalent TIPS certification
- Knowledge of POS systems preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members
- Demonstrated discretion and confidentiality in handling sensitive information
- Ability to follow company policies and procedures
- Strong interpersonal skills and customer service orientation
Job Duties
- Create and ensure a fun-filled and entertaining environment
- Display courteous and helpful attitude when dealing with guests
- Greet guests quickly and efficiently upon arrival
- Circulate throughout assigned area to observe and assist guests
- Manage and secure all cash and cash equivalents accurately
- Complete settlement paperwork consistently and in an organized manner
- Perform all side work and cleaning duties efficiently and timely
- Inventory and restock items based on pre-determined levels
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in compliance with health codes
- Monitor alcohol consumption according to company policy and state law
- Promote company marketing and promotional events
- Communicate effectively with team members and guests
- Maintain professionalism at all times
- Handle guest compliments and complaints appropriately
- Perform additional duties as assigned
