The Cocktail Server - Lounge position at The Venetian Resort is a critical role designed to enhance the beverage service within an upscale lounge environment. As a Cocktail Server, you will be responsible for providing each guest with an elevated and memorable experience by delivering premium beverage service efficiently and professionally. The role also includes financial responsibilities such as managing cash and credit transactions accurately using a POS system. Safety, compliance with health regulations, and maintaining a guest-focused attitude are fundamental requirements.
This role requires candidates to be at least 21 years old with proof of eligibility to work in the United States. Prospective employees should have a minimum of three years cocktail service experience in a high-volume environment where cash handling is involved. Additionally, obtaining and maintaining a health card and Alcohol Awareness certification (TAM card) is mandatory. Experience in luxury hospitality or nightlife venues is highly advantageous.

Job Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Proof of eligibility to work in the United States
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to obtain and maintain health card and Alcohol Awareness (TAM) card
- Three years cocktail service experience in a high-volume cash handling setting required
- Knowledge of high-end wine and liquor brands, designated glassware, terminology, and garnishment
- Familiarity with customer ordering practices
- Ability to work varied shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to speak and listen in a public forum
- Basic math skills and ability to handle cash accurately
- Maintain professional appearance and hygiene
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Ability to lift or carry up to 10 pounds unassisted
- Capacity to work in a fast-paced environment and perform prolonged periods of standing, walking, bending, and kneeling
- Ability to interact appropriately with guests and team members
- Must adhere to company standards and safety protocols
Job Qualifications
