Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior serving experience preferred
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Composure and patience under pressure
- Valid TABC certification
- Valid Food Handler’s certificate
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
- Willingness to work evenings weekends and holidays
Job Qualifications
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Handling difficult customers or complaints with professionalism
- Multitasking effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Effective time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work well with a team and demonstrate attention to detail
- Excellent organizational skills and interpersonal abilities
- Serve food alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to hotel guests and visitors in accordance with standard recipes and hotel guidelines
- Follow guidelines established with regards to age identification for suspected minors and when dealing with an intoxicated customer
- High school or equivalent education required
- TABC and Food Handler’s certificates
Job Duties
- Greet guests promptly and professionally creating a warm and engaging atmosphere
- Take and accurately input beverage and food orders into the POS system
- Serve cocktails wine beer and menu items efficiently and according to service standards
- Ensure all orders are rung in before being prepared or delivered
- Maintain full knowledge of cocktail menus spirits wine and daily specials
- Check back with guests to ensure satisfaction and anticipate additional needs
- Process payments accurately and handle cash credit transactions responsibly
