The AAA Four Diamond JW Marriott Savannah Plant Riverside District hotel, located in the heart of historic Savannah on the Savannah riverfront, is one of Kessler Hospitality's shining jewels. Guests at this property enjoy access to countless activities within walking distance, including downtown shopping districts, multiple on-site dining options, vibrant riverside bars, and various walking tours. The hotel itself is steeped in history, uniquely crafted from a former power plant; it embodies the beauty of progress through its architectural trio comprising the chic Power Plant, the romantic Three Muses, and the maritime-styled Atlantic buildings. Beyond these historical elements, guests can unwind at the hotel spa or partake in the energetic nightlife that the entertainment district offers.
We are currently seeking an attentive and dedicated Server to join our dynamic team at the JW Marriott Savannah Plant Riverside District. The Server is crucial in providing the highest quality of service to our guests, ensuring every dining experience is attentive, courteous, and efficient. This role involves receiving and delivering guest orders accurately, handling payments, and upholding the exceptional standards that define the Kessler experience. The Server must maintain excellent communication skills, multitask effectively, and prioritize functions to meet department deadlines while fostering a warm, welcoming atmosphere. Working with the Kessler team means being a part of a hospitality legacy that values both guest satisfaction and employee growth, providing an environment that encourages professional development in boutique hotel service excellence.

Job Requirements
- Must be able to effectively communicate both verbally and written with all levels of employees and guests
- Must be efficient at listening, understanding, and clarifying concerns
- Ability to multitask and prioritize departmental functions to meet deadlines
- Approach all encounters with guests and employees in a friendly, courteous, and service-oriented manner
- Attend all required meetings and trainings
- Maintain regular attendance as per hotel scheduling
- Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming including proper uniform and nametag
- Comply with hotel standards and regulations for safe and efficient operations
- Ability to identify and assist in solving problems proactively
- Flexible to work long hours
- Capability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or 20 pounds frequently or constantly
- Ability to stand throughout entire shift
- Ability to maneuver dining area carrying full trays of food and beverages
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in a hotel or related field preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to effectively listen, understand, and clarify guest and employee concerns
- Strong multitasking and prioritization skills
- Courteous and service-oriented attitude
- Ability to comply with hotel standards and regulations
