Job Description

The establishment looking to hire is a dynamic casino located in Colorado, a place where entertainment meets exceptional hospitality. This casino offers a vibrant and energetic environment where guests come to enjoy the thrill of gaming alongside top-tier service. Known for its exciting atmosphere and diverse gaming options, this casino also prides itself on delivering an unparalleled guest experience from the moment visitors step onto the casino floor. The casino is dedicated to maintaining a lively ambiance that captures the essence of excitement, making it a preferred destination for locals and tourists alike.\n\nThis role is for a Casino Cocktail Server, a key position for fostering the casino's reputation for excellent customer service and high energy. The Cocktail Server will play an essential role in creating a welcoming and upbeat environment by attending to guests promptly and efficiently. This employment opportunity is full-time, offering a chance to work in a fast-paced, guest-focused setting where 80% of the shift emphasizes direct guest interaction and the remaining 20% involves side work such as restocking and prepping drink stations. Servers will be tasked with greeting guests with enthusiasm, taking and delivering drink orders on the gaming floor and bar areas, and managing food orders when necessary. Additionally, they will be responsible for using the casino's POS system to enter orders accurately and ensuring their section remains clean and presentable. The ability to quickly resolve guest concerns with professionalism is crucial, as is the skill to upsell, enhancing the guest experience while helping to maximize sales performance.\n\nThe casino offers a highly competitive benefits package including access to a 401(k) plan, comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance, as well as pet insurance. Unique to this position is the availability of affordable employee housing at the former Gold Fever Hotel with rent starting at just $433 per month, which includes utilities, internet, and DirecTV. This benefit makes the role particularly attractive for those looking to live conveniently close to their workplace.\n\nThe ideal candidate must hold a valid TIPS Certification and be capable of obtaining a Colorado Gaming License. Physical stamina is necessary as the job requires standing and walking for extended periods, lifting up to 50 pounds when needed, and thriving in a typically loud and fast-paced environment. Experience with POS systems such as Micros, beverage and coffee equipment, alongside standard bar tools and service trays, will also be part of the job. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, along with an outgoing personality that is comfortable engaging with guests in an energetic setting. Basic math skills and attention to detail support the accuracy of work, and while knowledge of drink preparation is a plus, it is not mandatory. Overall, this role offers an exciting career path for those who thrive on social interaction and enjoy being part of a bustling casino atmosphere, where delivering exceptional hospitality is as important as the gaming experience itself.
