The Server role at HMSHost is vital in delivering an outstanding dining experience to guests. Employees in this position are responsible for taking and placing food and beverage orders efficiently and accurately, serving guests within their sections as well as assisting in other areas when needed, and coordinating closely with the kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of high-quality food. Servers support the overall guest experience by maintaining table appearance through pre-bussing and attentive service, checking on guest satisfaction after meals are served, and managing payment transactions with integrity and adherence to company policies.

In addition to providing excellent customer interaction, this role requires the physical stamina to perform tasks that include lifting and moving items up to 20 pounds, walking, bending, twisting, and standing for extended periods. The Server position is non-exempt and reports to the Store Manager, Assistant Store Manager, or General Manager, depending on local requirements.
