This position primarily involves greeting and serving beverages to guests in lounges, restaurants, or gaming areas with friendliness, courtesy, and efficiency. Beverage Servers act as the frontline representatives of Boyd Gaming, responsible for ensuring patrons receive timely and attentive service that aligns with the company’s high standards. Duties include greeting and serving patrons, accurately taking beverage orders and communicating them to bartenders, carrying and balancing full trays of beverages, and circulating throughout the assigned area to engage with guests continuously. Additionally, the Beverage Server handles the computation of charges and payment acceptance, manages an accurate cash bank, and provides complimentary beverages according to company policy.

This position demands stamina, as servers must be able to walk for the duration of their shifts and carry trays weighing up to 10 pounds. Eligibility for the role requires individuals to be at least 21 years of age and, ideally, possess six months of related experience, although on-the-job training may be provided.
