Job Requirements
- Must meet state legal age requirements
- Must have at least 1 year of serving experience in a fast paced food and beverage venue
- Must speak fluent English
- Must be courteous, pleasant, and good natured
- Must have strong communication skills
- Must hold alcohol awareness certification and/or valid food service permit or health/food handler card as required
- Must have reading, writing, and basic math skills
- Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to handle, carry, or lift items up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand and move efficiently throughout the entire facility during each shift
- Ability to bend, stoop, and kneel as needed
Job Qualifications
- At least 1 year of serving in a fast paced food and beverage venue, preferably nightclub environment
- Knowledge of liquor brands, beer, wine, champagne, non-alcoholic beverages, designated glassware, preparation methods and garnishments preferred
- Must meet state legal age requirements
- Must speak fluent English, other languages preferred
- Must be courteous, pleasant, and good natured
- Strong communication skills for interacting with guests, staff, and supervisors
- Alcohol awareness certification and/or food service permit or valid health/food handler card as required by local or state government agency
- Reading and writing abilities for taking orders and completing paperwork
- Basic math skills for handling cash and credit
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays
Job Duties
- Greet all guests and take beverage and food orders in a prompt and professional manner
- Serve cocktails and/or menu items to bar guests
- Up-sell when taking orders
- Show energy, outgoing personality, and maintain professionalism
- Provide outstanding and professional service with a smile
- Communicate effectively with co-workers and kitchen staff verbally and using the point of sales system
- Communicate with guests clearly, patiently, and with good humor
- Be knowledgeable about all concept products and menu items
- Consistently check guests' identification to ensure they meet legal drinking age
- Monitor guest behavior and alcohol consumption and notify management of incidents
- Complete all assigned side work
- Accurately account for all sales and payments
- Alert management to any service or safety issues
- Promote teamwork and quality service through communication with other departments
- Coordinate with bartenders and kitchen staff for orders and delivery of food and beverages
