This full-time role as a Principal Cook at Sodexo, based in Manchester University, involves preparing and presenting various hot and cold foods for multiple meal periods including breakfast, lunch, dinner, and special events or catering. Job Duties

  • Prepare, portion, cook and present a variety of hot and/or cold foods for multiple meal periods, including breakfast, lunch, dinner and special events/catering
  • Read and follow basic recipes and/or product instructions to prepare various foods
  • Prepare food and serve customers ordering a la carte and/or operate a grill station
  • Support management in daily supervision of key functions and employees during normal business operations
  • Attend work and report for scheduled shifts on time with sufficient regularity
  • Perform other tasks as assigned, which may vary between accounts depending on business needs and client requirements
