As a Principal Cook at Sodexo, located at Columbia College, you will play a pivotal role in bringing excellence to food preparation and presentation. This full-time role offers a competitive hourly wage ranging from $17.50 to $19.50, with varying shifts including days and hours, and open availability is preferred. Your primary responsibility will be to prepare and create delicious baked goods and a variety of hot and cold foods for multiple meal periods such as breakfast, lunch, dinner, and special catering events. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Willingness to work varying shifts including days and hours with open availability preferred
- Ability to prepare and present hot and cold food products
- Previous experience in a food preparation or cooking role
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Dependability and punctuality
- Ability to follow safety and hygiene standards

Job Duties
- Prepare, portion, cook, and present a variety of hot and cold foods for multiple meal periods including breakfast, lunch, dinner, and special catering events
- Read and follow basic recipes and product instructions to prepare various foods
- Prepare food and serve customers ordering à la carte and/or operate a grill station
- Support management with daily supervision of key functions and employees during normal business operations
- Attend work and arrive on scheduled shift on time with sufficient regularity
- Perform other duties as assigned which can vary depending on business needs and client requirements
