The Cook role at Sodexo's Energy Site in Gulfport, MS, represents an exciting full-time employment opportunity with a salary range from $7.25 per hour up to $23.44 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications. This position requires working varying shifts and days, with open availability preferred to meet operational needs. As a Sodexo Cook, you will become an integral team member dedicated to preparing and presenting delicious, high-quality food while emphasizing customer service and minimizing food waste. You will prepare, portion, cook, and plate a variety of cold and/or hot foods across multiple meal periods such as breakfast, lunch, dinner, and special events or catering.
Key responsibilities include following recipes and product instructions accurately, potentially preparing made-to-order dishes, and operating grill stations. Attending the scheduled shift on time with reliable attendance is critical, as is the adaptability to handle varying duties depending on business and client needs. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical kitchen tasks

Job Duties
- Prepare, portion, cook, and present cold and/or hot foods with precision and efficiency for various meal periods including breakfast, lunch, dinner, and special events/catering
- Read and follow basic recipes and product instructions to prepare various foods
- Prepare made-to-order meals and/or operate a grill station as needed
- Attend work and show up for scheduled shift on time with sufficient regularity
- Perform other assigned tasks that may vary between accounts depending on business needs and customer requirements
