This position is for a Cook at HCA Florida Capital Hospital, with full-time or part-time options, and a set pay rate of $16.00 per hour. Working varying shifts with a preference for open availability, the Cook role plays a vital part in delivering quality food service aligned with Sodexo's commitment to excellence. The successful candidate will be a collaborative team player dedicated to minimizing food waste while creating delicious baked goods and meals that bring joy to those they serve. Customer service is central to this role, as is the ability to accurately prepare, portion, and present a variety of hot and cold dishes throughout different meal periods, including breakfast, lunch, dinner, and special events or catering.

The Cook will follow recipes and product instructions meticulously to ensure consistent quality and safety. Additionally, they may handle a la carte orders and operate a grill station to serve customers directly.
