Job Description

Rogers Corporation is a globally recognized leader in materials technology and manufacturing with nearly two centuries of experience in innovating engineered solutions that power, protect, and connect the world. Headquartered in Chandler, Arizona, Rogers Corporation produces high-performance specialty materials that serve advanced electronics, elastomeric material solutions, and other critical technology sectors. The company operates manufacturing facilities worldwide, including locations in the United States, China, Germany, Belgium, Hungary, and South Korea, complemented by joint ventures and sales offices globally. With a steadfast commitment to integrity, creativity, and excellence, Rogers Corporation prides itself on cultivating a diverse and talented workforce dedicated to developing cutting-edge material technologies that meet the growing demands of various high-growth markets.

The Coating Operator position at Rogers Corporation plays a vital role within the production team to ensure that manufacturing goals for laminate and coated stock products are efficiently met. This role demands a highly detail-oriented and task-focused individual who excels in communication, especially when collaborating with department supervisors and cross-functional teams like quality control, shipping, and value-added departments. Responsibilities include setting up and monitoring manufacturing parameters to maintain safety and efficiency throughout production, regularly measuring and gauging product thickness using micrometers and other specialized quality control instruments, and conducting thorough in-process inspections and testing to maintain product traceability and documentation.

Additionally, the Coating Operator ensures steady availability of raw materials to match daily production needs and participates in inventory cycle counting to ensure accuracy. Handling nonconforming materials through proper documentation or process management, such as DMRs and hold tags, is a key part of this role, alongside participating actively in the training of new operators to uphold operational standards. With a strong emphasis on teamwork and adherence to established production processes, the Coating Operator contributes significantly to Rogers Corporation’s mission to create a cleaner, safer, and more connected world. This opportunity is ideal for candidates with relevant coating experience who seek to grow within an innovative company that values employee development and offers a supportive, results-driven work environment.
