The Co Manager role at Wendy's is a pivotal support position designed to work closely under the General Manager's guidance to ensure smooth restaurant operations. The Co Manager helps foster a positive and engaging workplace culture where team members feel respected and valued. A primary responsibility of this role is to identify and develop 5 Star Talent by placing the right people in the right roles through strategic scheduling and operational oversight. The Co Manager supports daily restaurant management tasks, including staffing, hiring, training, and administrative duties, aimed at driving sales, maximizing profits, and maintaining high standards of food quality, cleanliness, and customer service. This role requires a hands-on leader able to perform all restaurant operation positions and contribute to a collaborative, fun, and productive team environment. Through effective coaching and leadership, the Co Manager directly impacts the success of the restaurant and the professional growth of its team members.
