Job Description
Concierge Care is a reputable home care agency expanding its Northeast Florida team, specializing in providing exceptional in-home care services to clients across a wide range of communities. The agency is known for its compassionate approach, aiming to offer personalized care that meets the unique needs of each client in the comfort of their own homes. With multiple client openings available, Concierge Care is committed to matching caregivers with assignments that suit their availability and preferences, whether they seek part-time or more extensive hours. As a Florida-based home care provider, the agency operates with W-2 employment status and offers competitive weekly pay through direct deposit, demonstrating its commitment to supporting caregivers in both their professional and financial well-being.
The position available at Concierge Care is for Florida Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) and Certified Home Health Aides (HHAs). This role is ideal for compassionate professionals who are passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of elderly and disabled clients by assisting them with daily activities and ensuring their wellbeing in a one-on-one home care environment. Caregivers will have the opportunity to work across a diverse region that includes Fernandina, Callahan, Hilliard, Yulee, Jacksonville (North, South, East, and West), Ponte Vedra, Nocatee, Orange Park, Middleburg, Macclenny, Keystone Heights, St. Augustine, Palm Coast, Palatka, and other surrounding Northeast Florida communities.
Clients served by Concierge Care require varied schedules including morning, afternoon, evening, and overnight shifts. Assignments are flexible with opportunities that include weekday and weekend shifts as well as ongoing PRN (as-needed) assignments, extended-hour cases, and clients needing upwards of 40 hours per week. This variety allows caregivers to choose schedules that best fit their personal and professional lives.
Concierge Care offers competitive pay ranging from $18 to $22 per hour, with higher rates available for select assignments. New hires are also eligible for a $100 sign-on bonus after meeting bonus eligibility requirements. The agency ensures that caregivers have a supportive work environment backed by knowledgeable office staff and does not require personal liability insurance, reducing additional burdens on employees. The flexible scheduling system and multiple active client openings make this an accessible and desirable position for CNAs and HHAs seeking to advance their careers in home care.
The role requires caregivers to hold an active Florida CNA license or a Certified HHA certificate issued by a Florida-licensed training school. Candidates must also possess a valid driver’s license along with proof of auto insurance and CPR certification. Other health and safety prerequisites include a recent health statement (within six months) confirming that the applicant is free of communicable diseases, and completion of continuing education units (CEUs) focusing on Alzheimer’s, HIV/AIDS, and assistance with self-administered medication. Additionally, dementia training through Elder Affairs is mandatory to ensure high-quality care for clients with cognitive impairments.
Concierge Care stands out as an equal opportunity employer, strongly committed to inclusive hiring practices and compliance with all legal requirements. The agency ensures all employees complete Level 2 background screenings through the Florida Department of Law Enforcement and AHCA Clearinghouse, as mandated by Florida law, ensuring the safety and security of clients and staff alike.
This comprehensive role presents an excellent opportunity for CNAs and HHAs dedicated to making a meaningful difference while enjoying the flexibility, support, and compensation that Concierge Care offers in the Northeast Florida home care environment.
