Job Description

St. Camillus is a non-denominational, not-for-profit organization dedicated to caring for life through a broad range of health care services. Established with the mission to provide compassionate and innovative care, St. Camillus has evolved as a trusted provider within the health care community, offering a comprehensive spectrum of services that address the diverse needs of its residents and patients. With a vision to be the provider of choice for compassionate and innovative care, this organization fosters an inclusive and supportive work environment that values each team member's contribution to quality patient outcomes and overall community health.

St. Camillus is currently hiring Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) for all shifts including full-time and part-time roles, with an additional focus on full-time day float positions. The employment is on-site offering no remote work options, but with flexible scheduling options to accommodate different lifestyle needs. The organization stands out for offering improved shift differentials, daily pay options, and a strong benefits package that emphasizes employee well-being and growth opportunities. The pay scale varies by shift, ranging from $20.00 to $27.59 per hour with additional premiums for day float positions.

The CNA role at St. Camillus is central to the direct care provided to residents. It requires a compassionate individual who is committed to maintaining the physical and psychological well-being of residents by assisting with nutritional needs, maintaining bowel and bladder function, and ensuring the overall comfort and dignity of each individual. The position also involves observing and reporting any changes in the resident’s condition to ensure timely intervention and professional medical care.

Additionally, CNAs at St. Camillus are expected to uphold professional conduct while contributing as valuable members of the nursing team. This includes practicing infection control principles, demonstrating safety-conscious behavior to prevent employee injury, and actively engaging in their own professional development. St. Camillus values a strong team dynamic where each member is encouraged to grow and excel in their role.

Working at St. Camillus means joining a community where the mission to provide compassionate and innovative care is not only a statement but a daily practice. The employer embraces diversity and offers an inclusive environment with opportunities to grow within the organization, supported by benefits such as tuition reimbursement, retirement plans, health and dental insurance options, and generous paid time off without a waiting period for full-time employees. Employees also benefit from convenient transit options and free parking, enhancing the overall employee experience.

This opportunity is ideal for CNAs seeking to make a meaningful impact in a well-established healthcare organization that prioritizes both resident care and employee satisfaction. By joining St. Camillus, you become part of a legacy committed to advancing quality of life through dedicated health services and compassionate teamwork.
