The role of CMT Special Inspector 3 at Atlas represents a key position within the team, responsible for performing materials testing in strict accordance with established specifications and procedures. This role is essential in maintaining high-quality standards across various construction-related materials such as soil, asphalt, masonry, and concrete. This full-time professional position demands a seasoned expert with a minimum of 10 years of experience in materials testing, equipped with solid problem-solving skills, the ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure, and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite. Candidates must be able to lift and handle materials up to 50 pounds, work effectively within varying project timelines, and hold a valid driver's license upon hire. Preferred certifications include multiple ICC categories, ACI Concrete Field-Testing Technician Grade I, Radiation Safety/Nuclear Density Gauge, ODOT/WAQTC, CWI, NACE, and other relevant materials testing credentials.
