Job Description
White Lodging is a leading hospitality management company known for its development and operation of a portfolio of award-winning, premium-brand hotels, rooftop bars, and restaurants located in some of the United States' most desirable cities to live and work. Focused on delivering exceptional guest experiences, White Lodging prides itself on fostering a culture where people — both guests and associates — feel valued and inspired. The company’s commitment to quality and innovation has established it as a distinguished operator in the competitive hospitality industry. With properties that emphasize top-tier service and vibrant social environments, White Lodging offers a dynamic workplace where employees can thrive, contribute their talents, and grow their careers.
The Human Resources Coordinator role at White Lodging is vital in ensuring the smooth functioning of HR operations and supporting the company’s most important asset — its people. This full-time position offers an opportunity to join an award-winning team dedicated to fostering an inclusive and positive work environment. The coordinator will play a key part in supporting associates through comprehensive HR assistance, from recruiting and onboarding to engagement and resource management. This role demands a proactive individual with excellent interpersonal skills and a passion for people, capable of maintaining high standards of confidentiality and professionalism.
As a Human Resources Coordinator, you will be responsible for assisting associates and visitors with a warm and professional approach, handling inquiries, and ensuring visitors feel welcomed. The position includes managing full-cycle recruiting activities such as job postings, screening, interviewing, coordinating new hire paperwork, drug testing, and orientation, ensuring new team members are smoothly integrated into the company culture. Moreover, you will plan and execute associate recognition and engagement programs that promote a positive and supportive workplace culture, contributing to high employee morale and retention.
Maintaining the Human Resource Information System (HRIS) will be a key function, requiring meticulous attention to detail and absolute confidentiality in handling sensitive employment records and hotel-related data. As a knowledgeable resource, you will provide associates with information on benefits programs, HR policies, and procedures, ensuring compliance with employment laws, including ADA, FMLA, and EEOC guidelines. Collaborating closely with HR team members and leadership, you will contribute to ongoing process improvements and help address the evolving needs of the workforce.
This role requires proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, strong organizational skills, flexibility, initiative, and a positive attitude. Preference is given to candidates holding a bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field, and bilingual skills in English and Spanish are highly valued. The ability to physically perform job duties, such as lifting and moving items up to 10 lbs, is also necessary.
Joining White Lodging as a Human Resources Coordinator means gaining access to comprehensive benefits from day one, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, paid parental leave, vacation and paid time off with rollover options, and complimentary wellness tools. Employees can also enjoy unlimited referral bonuses, 401(k) with company match, healthcare concierge services, leadership development opportunities, tuition reimbursement, and discounts on hotel rooms and dining. With multiple hotels operating in each market, associates have numerous career advancement opportunities within the organization.
White Lodging is dedicated to creating an inclusive and diverse work environment. The company is an equal opportunity employer and values the unique contributions of all associates. Additionally, it is important to note that this position is with an independently operated franchise property and that employment terms are controlled solely by the franchisee, separate from Marriott International and its subsidiaries.
