Delaware North Sportservice is a globally recognized hospitality and food service company known for its extensive experience in managing premium venues and delivering exceptional guest experiences. Operating in iconic locations and entertainment venues, Delaware North brings a legacy of over 100 years of family-owned business excellence, with a commitment to sustainable practices and community engagement. The company manages food and beverage services at the Climate Pledge Arena in Seattle, Washington, which is the home of the NHL's Seattle Kraken, WNBA's Seattle Storm, and also hosts premier live music and entertainment events. The Climate Pledge Arena itself is a state-of-the-art, 740,000-square-foot renewable energy-powered facility that proudly holds the distinction of being the first net zero-certified arena globally, underscoring Delaware North's dedication to environmental responsibility and innovation in the hospitality sector.
The role of Club Manager at Delaware North involves leadership and operational responsibility, specifically overseeing the premium club bars, inseat dining service, and catering events at Climate Pledge Arena. This position demands an individual who can inspire a team, uphold the company's high standards for customer service, and create dynamic and positive guest experiences. As a Club Manager, you will act as a key figure in ensuring that all club operations run efficiently and smoothly, managing both the front of house and administrative tasks such as ordering inventory, scheduling, and operational reporting. With a focus on premium experiences, you will work closely with hospitality staff to maintain high service standards, handle guest relations professionally, and foster a culture of teamwork and motivation among employees.
Compensation for this role starts at an anticipated maximum base salary of $80,169 annually, with added incentives including an annual bonus plan linked to company and individual performance as well as an uncapped sales incentive plan. Delaware North offers a robust benefits package to its employees, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) plan with company match, paid vacation and parental bonding leave, tuition reimbursement, and generous discounts at affiliated hotels and resorts. This role requires flexibility in scheduling to accommodate business demands and requires certifications such as ServSafe, Food Safety Handler, and Training for Intervention Procedures.
This position is well-suited for professionals with at least two years of experience in restaurant management or a comparable role within a high-volume hospitality environment, possessing skills in budget management, cost control, inventory oversight, and understanding profit and loss statements. The successful candidate will have strong leadership qualities, interpersonal skills to promote teamwork, and a solid knowledge of health, safety, and food service regulatory standards. Proficiency in computer applications such as Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and point of sale systems is essential. Joining Delaware North means becoming part of a vibrant global team dedicated to shaping the future of hospitality through innovative service and sustainable practices, all within a historic, family-owned company structure that values its employees' professional development and wellbeing.
