Louie's is currently seeking a professional and service-oriented Cocktail Server to join its team. This position is classified as non-exempt, making it eligible for overtime, with an hourly pay rate starting at $16.90 plus tips. The role requires weekend availability and involves working in a lively, upscale lounge environment. The cocktail server will be responsible for delivering excellent guest service through knowledgeable guidance on the cocktail menu, offering thoughtful recommendations, and contributing to an engaging atmosphere for all patrons. Responsibilities include presenting the beverage menu professionally, taking orders accurately, preparing drinks to exact specifications, and working closely with the bartending and kitchen teams to ensure efficient service flow. Moreover, the Cocktail Server must maintain cleanliness and organization within service areas and handle payments precisely using the point-of-sale system.

The Cocktail Server is expected to uphold a polished and professional appearance consistent with the venue's upscale ambiance. This includes following the dress code guidelines, maintaining proper grooming and hygiene, and ensuring any tattoos or piercings conform to the operational standards. Candidates must be at least 21 years old, possess a high school diploma or equivalent, and either hold or obtain Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) certification within 60 days of hire. The schedule necessitates availability from Wednesday through Sunday, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Physical demands include the ability to stand and walk for extended periods, navigate crowded or confined spaces, carry trays and glassware weighing up to 25 pounds, and perform tasks requiring coordination and timing during busy service periods. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) certification or within 60 days from hire
- Must have availability to work Wednesday to Sunday nights weekends and/or holidays
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during scheduled shifts
- Ability to move throughout a fast-paced high-volume indoor environment including crowded or confined spaces
- Ability to transport balance and carry trays glassware and other service items as part of job duties
- Ability to bend reach and maneuver in service areas including tables bar and service stations up to 25 lbs
- Ability to communicate effectively in environments with varying noise levels
- Ability to use hands and arms to handle serve and present food and beverage items
- Ability to perform job duties requiring coordination timing and efficiency during peak service periods
- Ability to follow safe work practices consistent with hospitality and food service operations
Job Qualifications
- Knowledge of cocktails spirits wine champagne and beverage service standards
- Effective communication interpersonal and guest service skills
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to anticipate guest needs
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and perform essential job duties efficiently in a fast-paced high-volume environment with varying noise levels
- Ability to maintain professionalism and sound judgment in a high-energy setting
- Knowledge of bottle service and lounge-style service standards preferred
- Previous experience as a cocktail server or in a similar role in a high-volume beverage or nightclub preferred
- Maintain a polished professional appearance consistent with an upscale guest-facing nightclub environment
- Adhere to the venue’s dress code which may include designated uniforms cocktail attire or specified wardrobe guidelines
- Maintain personal grooming and hygiene consistent with hospitality service standards
- Hair should be neat clean and styled in a manner that does not interfere with job duties or guest service
- Tattoos should be covered where required by operational standards subject to applicable accommodations
- Facial piercings should be minimal in visibility and consistent with workplace appearance guidelines
Job Duties
- Provide a professional and welcoming guest experience including presenting and explaining the cocktail and beverage menu
- Accurately take orders and offer recommendations based on guest preferences
