The available position is a full-time, non-management role within the Rooms & Guest Services Operations category, focused specifically on managing and enhancing the guest experience in the club lounge area. This role plays a vital part in maintaining the high standards of service The Ritz-Carlton is known for, particularly by ensuring the availability and quality of seating, service, and guest safety. The individual will be responsible for keeping the bar, furniture, and other lounge instruments clean and in excellent condition while preparing and serving hot, cold, and alcoholic beverages to guests. Additionally, the role includes managing supplies such as ice, glassware, and provisions, anticipating restocking needs, and promptly communicating these requirements.

This position requires attention to operational details including dishwashing duties, completing opening and closing tasks, securing liquor, beer, wine, refrigerators, cabinets, and storage areas, as well as thorough record-keeping. The lounge attendant must anticipate additional food needs and communicate any special requests to the kitchen. Promoting safety by reporting accidents, injuries, and unsafe working conditions is essential here. Job Duties

  • Control seat availability, service, safety, and guest well-being in the club lounge
  • Maintain cleanliness and good condition of the bar, bar furniture, tables, and instruments
  • Prepare and serve hot, cold, and alcoholic beverages
  • Supply the area with ice, glassware, and provisions
  • Anticipate restocking needs and communicate immediately
  • Wash dishes and kitchen utensils when needed
  • Complete opening and closing tasks
  • Requisition necessary provisions and transfer them from the depot to the bar area when needed
  • Secure liquors, beers, wines, refrigerators, cabinets, and storage areas
  • Document pertinent information in department records
  • Anticipate extra food needs and communicate special requests to the kitchen
  • Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to the manager
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures
  • Ensure a clean and professional uniform and appearance
  • Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets
  • Greet guests according to company standards
