The role opening at The Ritz-Carlton Pentagon City is a full-time, non-management position in the Rooms and Guest Services Operations category. This position focuses on ensuring the availability of seats, outstanding service, security, and guest wellness in the club lounge. Responsibilities also include maintaining the cleanliness and good condition of the bar, furniture, tables, and other instruments. The role demands preparation and service of hot, cold, and alcoholic beverages, restocking the area with ice, glassware, and supplies, and anticipating the need for replenishment while communicating it promptly.

This position also involves washing dishes and cooking utensils as needed, completing opening and closing tasks, requisitioning necessary supplies from storage to the bar area, and securing liquors, beers, wines, refrigerators, cabinets, and storage areas. The team member will maintain accurate departmental records, foresee additional food needs, communicate special requests to the kitchen, and report accidents, injuries, and unsafe working conditions to the manager.

The role requires adherence to company policies and procedures, maintaining a neat and professional appearance, protecting proprietary information, and safeguarding company assets. The employee acts as the face of the brand by welcoming and recognizing guests according to the company standards, anticipating and fulfilling service needs, assisting guests with disabilities, and expressing genuine appreciation. Communication skills are vital, including speaking clearly and professionally with colleagues and guests, accurately preparing and reviewing written documents, and answering phones using the proper protocol.

Teamwork is essential for success in this role, as is maintaining positive labor relations and supporting the team to achieve common goals. Adhering to quality assurance standards and being physically capable of moving, lifting, transporting, pushing, dragging, and placing objects up to 25 pounds, standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods, and performing other reasonable duties as requested are key aspects of the job.

Job Duties
