Job Requirements
- Open availability including day shifts and weekends
- ability to follow company procedures for room access and cleaning
- physical capacity to lift and move objects weighing up to 25 pounds unassisted and more with assistance
- ability to push and pull housekeeping carts over uneven surfaces
- standing, sitting, kneeling, or walking for extended periods during shifts
- ability to bend, twist, pull, and stoop
- commitment to maintaining professional appearance
- ability to maintain confidentiality
- willingness to complete safety training and certifications
Job Qualifications
- No high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent required
- no related work experience required
- no supervisory experience required
- ability to respond promptly and professionally to guests
- physical capability to perform housekeeping duties
- good communication skills
- ability to work flexible hours including weekends and day shifts
- commitment to safety protocols
Job Duties
- Respond promptly to requests from guests and other departments
- fill cart with supplies and transport cart to assigned area
- enter guest rooms following procedures for access and vacancy verification
- replace guest amenities and supplies
- change linens and terry
- make beds and fold terry
- clean bathrooms
- remove trash, dirty linens, and room service items
- check appliances and furnishings for proper condition
- dust, polish, and remove marks from walls and furniture
- vacuum carpets and perform floor care
- follow safety policies and report hazards
- maintain uniform and personal appearance
- welcome and acknowledge guests professionally
- anticipate and address guest service needs
- assist guests with disabilities
- communicate clearly and professionally
- support team goals
- move and lift objects with or without assistance
- push and pull housekeeping carts
- perform other duties as assigned
