The position of Club Front Desk Lead at the Flamingo Resort & Spa plays a pivotal role in maintaining the high standards of service and operational efficiency that guests and members have come to expect. As a frontline representative, this role is crucial in leading and supporting the front desk team to ensure a warm, welcoming atmosphere and smooth daily operations within the health club. Responsibilities include managing member inquiries, assisting with check-ins and appointments, and resolving concerns promptly while upholding the resort’s commitment to outstanding customer service. Leading by example, the Club Front Desk Lead oversees scheduling, training, coaching, and performance feedback for team members to continually enhance service delivery. Moreover, this leadership role involves coordinating between various departments such as housekeeping, engineering, and fitness instructors to ensure seamless and enjoyable member experiences. The Club Front Desk Lead is also responsible for enforcing club policies to maintain a safe and respectful environment, managing inventory, and preserving confidentiality of all guest and member information. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous supervisory or leadership experience
  • excellent customer service skills
  • strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • proficient in computer systems and POS software
  • ability to work flexible hours including weekends holidays and evenings
  • associate degree or relevant certification preferred

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required associate degree or relevant certification preferred
  • previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role preferably in a hospitality fitness or wellness environment
  • excellent customer service communication and interpersonal skills
  • strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • proficient in computer systems and POS software prior experience with fitness club software is a plus
  • ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends holidays and evenings

Job Duties

  • Lead and support front desk staff in daily operations ensuring adherence to policies and procedures
  • provide training coaching and performance feedback to team members
  • ensure exceptional guest service is provided at all times resolve member concerns and complaints in a timely and professional manner
  • oversee scheduling shift coverage and timekeeping for the front desk team
  • maintain cleanliness organization and readiness of the front desk and lobby area
  • assist with membership enrollments cancellations freeze requests and billing inquiries
  • coordinate with other departments e.g. housekeeping engineering fitness instructors to ensure seamless operations
  • monitor inventory of supplies and place orders as needed
  • enforce club rules and regulations to ensure a safe and respectful environment for all members and staff
  • maintain confidentiality of all guest and member information
