PSSI Stadium LLC is the operating company behind Acrisure Stadium, located in Pittsburgh, PA, a premier venue known for hosting thrilling sports events and concerts. Acrisure Stadium is home to the Pittsburgh Steelers and the University of Pittsburgh Panthers football teams, and it serves as a dynamic entertainment hub for a variety of stadium-wide events. The stadium boasts several exclusive club spaces, including the newly launched 1933 Club, designed to offer an elevated hospitality environment for guests during game days and special events.
The Club Events Manager position at PSSI Stadium LLC is a vital role based at Acrisure Stadium, specifically focused on managing operations for the 1933 Club. This position oversees both game day and non-game day functions to ensure that guests receive a premium experience in this high-end hospitality setting. Responsible for leading the 1933 Club during Steelers games, Pitt football games, concerts, and other events, the manager serves as the main point of contact for incident resolution related to guest relations, medical issues, security concerns, ticketing, and staff coordination. This role requires hands-on management of staffing logistics including scheduling, payroll, and supervision to maintain a seamless operation.
Beyond game day duties, the Club Events Manager coordinates and plans private and special events within the 1933 Club. This includes managing client communications, preparing event proposals and contracts, overseeing floor plans and work orders, and controlling invoicing and payments. The individual in this role collaborates closely with internal departments such as catering, security, and maintenance, as well as external vendors to ensure smooth event execution from setup through load-out.
Ideal candidates for this role will bring at least five years of experience in event planning, venue management, or hospitality and event operations, along with a bachelor’s degree, preferably in Hospitality, Sports Management, Business, Communications, or related disciplines. Key skills include strong organizational abilities, excellent communication, leadership competencies for managing teams in fast-paced environments, proficiency in Microsoft Office and event management platforms like ABI MasterMind, TripleSeat, or Social Tables, and a detail-oriented, client-first mindset.

Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree preferred hospitality, sports management, business, communications, or related discipline
- Minimum 5 years experience in event planning, venue management, or hospitality operations

Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Lead 1933 Club operations for all Steelers, Pitt football games, concerts, and other stadium-wide events
- Serve as the main point of contact for resolving incidents involving guest relations, medical, security, ticketing, and staffing in 1933 Club
- Manage staffing logistics, including scheduling, payroll, position assignments, and supervision of Club Staff
- Develop and distribute game-day resources such as supervisor checklists, team member info sheets, and sign-in sheets
- Assist with the other Club spaces as needed when additional support may be required
- Coordinate with prospective and existing clients to plan events within the 1933 Club
- Manage all aspects of event planning including client communication, proposals, contracts, floor plans, work orders, invoicing, and payments
- Serve as the primary point of contact between clients and internal departments and external vendors
- Oversee event execution from load-in through load-out ensuring all logistics are handled efficiently and professionally
- Assist and oversee Stadium Club events in all spaces when required
