Job Description

The Moore is an iconic landmark destination located in the vibrant Miami Design District. This expansive nearly 90,000-square-foot complex is a unique blend of a private members club, boutique hotel, multiple fine dining restaurants, retail shops, exhibition spaces, event venues, and offices. Situated within the historic circa-1922 Moore building, the establishment thoughtfully integrates two four-story structures at the intersection of NE 40th Street and NE 2nd Avenue. One of its most distinguishing features is Elastika, a bespoke architectural commission by the late renowned artist and architect Zaha Hadid, originally created for the inaugural Design Miami exhibition in 2005. The Moore’s multifaceted space is optimized to cater to a broad spectrum of exclusive experiences and services within a single, elegant venue. The building's first floor centers around a public all-day dining concept that welcomes both members and visitors. The second floor hosts The Club at The Moore, a private, members-only enclave featuring a sophisticated restaurant, multiple indulgent bars, contemporary lounges, and exclusive private dining and event spaces designed for an upscale clientele. The third floor boasts The Workplace at The Moore, where professionals can rent private offices, access dedicated desks, or enjoy limited communal working environments in a stylish setting. The top fourth floor offers The Hotel at The Moore, containing 15 elegantly appointed hotel suites accessible to both members and non-members. This level also houses The Gallery at The Moore, a sprawling 4,500-square-foot private exhibition and event area overlooking the striking Elastika atrium, providing an exceptional backdrop for artistic and social occasions. Managed and redeveloped by WoodHouse, a boutique hospitality operator founded by entrepreneur Brady Wood, The Moore embodies a vision of experiential luxury through private clubs, restaurants, hotels, and live entertainment venues that redefine the cultural landscape of Miami. The Moore is currently seeking a full-time Club Barback to join its esteemed team and contribute to delivering impeccable bar service within The Club at The Moore. In this essential role, the Barback supports bartenders by ensuring the bar operates smoothly and efficiently, supplying all necessary tools and inventory. Working closely with the bartending team, the Barback’s responsibilities include preparing and setting up the bar area, restocking beverages, garnishes, and glassware, and maintaining cleanliness and organization to uphold the venue’s high standards. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, luxury hospitality environment by demonstrating strong teamwork, meticulous attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Physical stamina and the ability to move quickly and gracefully through the club spaces are critical in maintaining seamless service flow. The Barback will also assist in event setups and breakdowns, adhere to health and safety protocols, and provide responsive service to member requests ensuring an exceptional experience for all guests. By joining The Moore, you become part of a dynamic team nestled in one of Miami’s most prestigious cultural and social hubs. The company values innovation, individual contribution, and continuous personal growth, fostering an inclusive atmosphere where your efforts are recognized and rewarded. Along with a competitive salary, The Moore offers a comprehensive benefits package and an opportunity to work in a truly unmatched environment where creativity and luxury provision intersect.
