The position of Club Attendant is integral to the smooth day-to-day operations of the Packers Athletic Club. This full-time role primarily focuses on back-end operations such as cleaning, laundry, equipment preventative maintenance, and ensuring that members receive outstanding service at all times. The Club Attendant plays a vital role in maintaining the high standards of the club by attending to member needs and ensuring the cleanliness and availability of amenities. Responsibilities also include assisting members with locker functions, laundering towels, reporting facility issues, and supporting opening and closing procedures of the recovery area. The role has a direct impact on the customer experience and contributes indirectly to the club's financial health through supporting member satisfaction. This position reports to the Facility Operations Manager and provides a unique opportunity for individuals who are passionate about customer service and maintaining a clean, efficient club environment. Job Requirements
- High school degree or above
- Minimum 1 year of housekeeping or janitorial experience
- CPR/AED certification
- Ability to provide excellent customer service
- Strong communication skills
- Strong work ethic
- Ability to multitask and learn quickly
- Professional conflict resolution skills
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays
- Able to lift 10 to 75 pounds frequently
- Ability to stand, walk, and use hands for handling objects
- Ability to occasionally sit
Job Qualifications
- High school degree or above required
- 1+ years of experience, including previous housekeeping or janitorial
- CPR/AED certification required
- Excellent customer service
- Strong communication skills
- Strong work ethic with a desire to keep facility neat and clean
- Multi-tasking skills and the ability to learn quickly
- Conflict resolution skills, handled in a professional manner
- Ability to work a variety of schedules, including weekends and holidays
- Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds
- Ability to stand, walk, use hands to handle objects, tools, or controls, reach with hands and arms, and occasionally sit
Job Duties
- Ensure and deliver the detailed cleanliness of the club and locker rooms in conjunction with the standards set by PAC management
- Responsible for on-site laundering and folding towels for member usage
- Responsible for assisting members with daily locker functions
- Responsible for keeping all amenities available and stocked for member use
- Responsible for administering proper lost and found procedures in accordance with PAC policy
- Responsible for reporting any malfunctioning equipment or facility related concern immediately to management
- Assist in opening and closing procedures of the recovery area, depending on shift
- Establish yourself as an integral team member within the club
- Other duties as assigned by the General Manager
