The Club & Spa Operations Manager role at the Flamingo Resort & Spa is a full-time position offering a competitive salary ranging from $80,000 to $90,000. This key leadership role is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Club, Spa, Fitness, and Membership Programs with a focus on delivering exceptional guest and member experiences while optimizing operational efficiency and revenue. The successful candidate will lead a high-performing team dedicated to upholding the resort's high service standards, promptly addressing member and guest concerns, and ensuring the flawless operation of spa and club facilities. Key responsibilities include managing spa programs, wellness initiatives, special events, and retail strategies to boost engagement and revenue. The manager will collaborate with various teams, including the Spa Supervisor, spa service providers, reception staff, and club personnel, to ensure seamless service delivery. They will actively monitor facility operations, scheduling, and guest flow to maintain high levels of efficiency and service quality. Developing innovative operational improvements and creative promotional strategies to grow membership sales, spa bookings, fitness programming, and overall departmental income is essential. Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in recreation management, hospitality management, business administration, or related field preferred
  • Minimum 3 years of leadership experience in spa, fitness club, hospitality, wellness, or luxury resort operations
  • Proven experience leading teams and managing daily operations
  • Strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets and revenue goals
  • Excellent customer service and conflict resolution skills
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities
  • Experience with membership management systems, spa scheduling software, and Microsoft Office
  • CPR/First Aid certification preferred

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Oversee the daily operations of the Club & Spa including the fitness center, locker rooms, pool amenities, spa treatment areas, retail space, member services, and guest experience
  • Develop and manage innovative spa programs, wellness initiatives, seasonal promotions, special events, and retail strategies that enhance the guest experience and increase member engagement
  • Lead daily operations by partnering with the Spa Supervisor, spa providers, spa reception team, and club staff to ensure seamless service delivery and an exceptional experience for both members and resort guests
  • Monitor daily operations, appointment availability, staffing levels, facility usage, and guest flow to maximize efficiency, service quality, and overall utilization
  • Build strong relationships with members and guests by delivering exceptional customer service, responding promptly to inquiries, concerns, and service recovery opportunities, and fostering long-term member satisfaction and retention
  • Develop and implement operational improvements that enhance the member and guest experience, increase efficiency, and support overall business objectives
  • Ensure luxury hospitality standards are consistently maintained across all Club & Spa operations while adhering to company policies, procedures, brand standards, and safety regulations
