The Dinner Server role at Cloud Camp is a vital position responsible for delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests through attentive service of a four-course plated dinner paired with a comprehensive beverage program. The server acts as an ambassador of Cloud Camp's high standards, ensuring each guest's dietary needs and preferences are met with accuracy and care. This position demands a highly motivated individual with prior serving experience, preferably in a fine dining environment, capable of multitasking and maintaining a polished demeanor in a dynamic setting. Responsibilities include answering menu-related questions, recommending food and beverages, preparing and serving beverages including cocktails, wine, and beer, and maintaining constant communication with kitchen staff to ensure efficient service flow. The Dinner Server must also perform opening and closing duties, uphold safety and hygiene regulations, and assist other departmental staff when necessary to enhance the overall guest experience. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
- One to two years of serving experience required
- Ability to perform occasional heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs.)
- Willingness to work in both indoor and outdoor environments
- Commitment to uphold safety and hygiene standards
- Ability to abide by Colorado liquor laws
- Ability to utilize Point of Sales system proficiently
- Must maintain a professional, courteous attitude
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
- One to two years of serving experience
- Previous experience in a fine dining restaurant environment preferred
- Enthusiastic, friendly, and energetic team member
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to work well with others in a team setting
Job Duties
- Maintain 5 star and 5 diamond standards while offering above and beyond service for all guests
- Serve guests four course plated dinner
- Answer menu questions and make suggestions regarding food and beverage service
- Obtain and maintain knowledge of guest(s) diet restrictions and food allergies
- Function as bartender and mix ingredients to prepare beverages to guest satisfaction
- Serve variety of wines, beers, and cocktails
- Maintain accurate communication with kitchen staff regarding orders, times, guest needs, etc. to provide efficient service
- Observe diners to respond to any additional requests and to determine when meal has been completed
- Buss and carry used tableware to kitchen area
- Handle opening and closing procedures as directed
- Follow Cloud Camp safety and hygiene standards
- Abide by and maintain up to date knowledge of Colorado liquor laws
- Assist other dining room staff and all other staff as needed
- Utilize the Point of Sales system proficiently
- Assist in Culinary and Stewarding as needed
- Perform all other duties as assigned and help with any other duties at Cloud Camp needed and necessary
- Demonstrate willingness to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
- Uphold and abide by all Broadmoor policies, procedures, and safety guidelines
- Other duties as assigned
