The Certified Swing Manager enforces food safety standards such as proper handwashing, time and temperature controls, and maintaining cleanliness and equipment functionality. They are tasked with regularly conducting travel paths and monitoring critical control points to prevent any lapses, taking immediate corrective actions when necessary.
Alongside operational oversight, financial stewardship is integral to the role. The Certified Swing Manager optimizes labor deployment based on sales volume to maximize efficiency and control costs. They also manage product inventory, monitor waste, and ensure secure cash handling and asset protection practices are followed. These financial duties help the restaurant maintain profitability while continuing to deliver an excellent customer experience.

Additionally, the Certified Swing Manager acts as an important communication link between crew members and the General Manager. They provide updates about shift performance, staffing requirements, and equipment concerns while also professionally handling guest complaints and ensuring proper incident documentation and follow-up.
