This role is responsible for greeting and welcoming guests with a courteous and professional demeanor, opening doors, assisting with luggage, coordinating transportation needs, and facilitating smooth arrivals and departures. The Doorperson ensures that every guest receives personalized attention, enhancing their overall experience through attentive service and hospitality. As part of a well-structured team, the Doorperson adheres strictly to FORBES hospitality standards and collaborates closely with valet managers, bell staff, and front desk agents.

This position demands a strong commitment to service excellence and professionalism. The Doorperson plays a vital role in maintaining the property's reputation by following established protocols such as wearing proper uniform and nametag, participating in pre-shift meetings, and keeping all work areas clean and organized. Responsibility extends to communication duties such as radio coordination with the main gate and updating shift notes with relevant information. Physical demands include the ability to lift and carry luggage up to 50 lbs and to be on one’s feet for extended periods. Flexibility in schedule is necessary, including availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent customer service and communication skills with a professional appearance and demeanor.
