The Doorperson works closely with valet managers and runners, coordinates communication via radio with the main gate, and ensures all guest doors are managed attentively. The Doorperson is responsible for observing high hospitality standards, including escorting guests to the front desk and properly introducing them to front desk agents by name to personalize the experience. This role requires flexibility to work during evenings, weekends, and holidays. Handling physical demands such as lifting luggage weighing up to 50 lbs intermittently and frequently carrying up to 25 lbs is expected. The position reports directly to the Director of Guest Experience and involves regular interaction with guests and members, emphasizing the importance of communication skills, professionalism, and knowledge of the local area.

- High school diploma or equivalent
- ability to lift 50 lbs maximum and frequently lift and carry objects up to 25 lbs
- ability to walk or stand for extended periods
- good physical reach, handling, feeling, talking, hearing, and seeing
- flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
Job Qualifications

- hospitality training preferred
- prior experience in guest services or bellman role is a plus
- excellent customer service and communication skills

Job Duties
- Door team follows all FORBES standards
- call all vehicles over radio and confirm back to main gate
- conduct pre-shift meetings with valet managers and runners
- open and close all guest doors
- greet all guests appropriately
- remove all luggage from vehicle and load onto bell cart
- escort Cloister guests to front desk and introduce to FD agent by name
- ensure doorperson wear proper uniform with nametag and have daily compass
- attend pre-shift meetings
- be posted up as a doorperson
- call valet runners as vehicles arrive
- keep podium clean and free of clutter
- tag luggage
- update ShiftNote with any pertinent information
- ensure all radios are charged and ready for next shift
- keep front drive clean and free of trash
- maintain holding room clean and organized
- keep lobby clean and free of dirty glasses or trash
