The position available is for a specialized role under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) such as an Associate Clinical Supervisor, Clinical Supervisor, or Regional Clinical Director. This role entails a mix of program management and direct behavioral intervention services for individuals diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other related disabilities. The candidate will collaborate closely with BCBAs and Behavior Interventionists to develop and execute intervention plans, conduct assessments, and handle program documentation effectively. This is a full-time position with a starting salary of $70,304 per year.
In this role, the successful candidate will provide program oversight by supervising Behavior Interventionists to ensure accurate data collection and adherence to evidence-based practices. They will maintain program records and regularly conduct data reliability and fidelity checks to ensure high standards in service delivery. This position demands a strong understanding of ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) methodologies such as Pivotal Response Training (PRT), Natural Environment Teaching (NET), and the Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS). Moreover, the candidate will be involved in leading monthly progress meetings with families to discuss intervention outcomes and update treatment plans.
A crucial part of the job includes delivering specific intervention activities, parent education, and monitoring skill acquisition in both children and adults in natural environments. The role also requires meticulous documentation, including evaluations, treatment notes, progress reports, and exit summaries. Continuous professional development and staying updated with current research findings in autism and special education are essential to ensure the delivery of cutting-edge interventions.
Additionally, the candidate will provide ongoing competency-based training to staff, participate actively in staff meetings and in-services, and maintain excellent communication with families, responding promptly to concerns and needs. They must demonstrate strong clinical, administrative, and leadership abilities, coupled with excellent judgment, decision-making skills, and professionalism. This role requires someone dedicated to fostering positive relationships with participants and their families while maintaining a high level of confidentiality and discretion.

Job Requirements
- Master’s degree in relevant field
- must have and maintain current CPR certification
- minimum 2 years of professional experience working with children with autism spectrum disorders
- ability to pass a post-offer physical examination and TB test
- ability to provide proof of required vaccinations or positive titer showing immunity
- ability to obtain and maintain a criminal record/fingerprint clearance from Department of Justice and FBI
- strong clinical and leadership skills
- ability to travel locally up to 30 percent
- maintain valid driving record, auto insurance, and vehicle registration
- ability to handle exposure to unpleasant or hazardous working conditions
- strong computer skills with Microsoft Office
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Job Qualifications
- Master’s degree from an accredited college or university with a concentration in early childhood education, early childhood special education, special education, or psychology
- knowledge of evidence-based practices and scientifically validated methodologies and approaches benefiting children with ASD
- familiar with intervention approaches based on Applied Behavior Analysis
- competent in employing and directing behavior analytic methodologies including Pivotal Response Training, Natural Environment Teaching, Picture Exchange Communication System, Behavior Skills Training, and Experimental Functional Analysis
- familiar with early intervention field and community resources
- strong clinical, administrative, and leadership skills
- able to interpret and implement policies, procedures, and regulations
- able to consistently demonstrate good judgment and decision-making skills
- ability to maintain customer service orientation and professionalism
- effective oral and written communication skills
- ability to relate well to children and families
- ability to exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality
- very good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and related software
Job Duties
- Supervises Behavior Interventionists to ensure all recorded data is correct and accurate
- manages and maintains program records
- maintains data reliability and fidelity checks regularly
- plans and leads monthly progress updates for each family served with program team
- assists in creating and delivering specific intervention activities and provides parent education according to treatment plan or individualized assessments
- monitors the skill acquisition of children and adults diagnosed on the autism spectrum in natural settings
- completes necessary documentation including evaluations, treatment notes, progress reports and exit summaries
- provides and coordinates ongoing competency-based staff training
- attends staff meetings, in-services, treatment planning, trainings, and other meetings as requested
- remains current regarding new research, current trends, and developments in autism, ABA, special education and related fields
- maintains frequent, professional and courteous communications with participants and families
- communicates parental concerns and needs immediately to the case supervisor
- performs other duties as assigned
