Easterseals Southern California is a prominent non-profit organization with a century-long legacy dedicated to fostering inclusion and independence for individuals with disabilities. Serving over 29,000 people annually, Easterseals Southern California offers vital services that span early childhood programs, autism services, employment assistance, and independent living support. The organization is widely recognized for its advocacy and education efforts that break down barriers and create meaningful opportunities for the one-in-four Americans who live with disabilities. By championing accessibility and empowerment, Easterseals Southern California continues to be a beacon of hope and a resource hub for families and individuals seeking comprehensive care and support.

The role being offered is focused on providing specialized behavior intervention services and program supervision to individuals diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and related disabilities. Under the direct supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), which may include roles such as Associate Clinical Supervisor, Clinical Supervisor, or Regional Clinical Director, this position plays a vital role in enhancing program quality and client outcomes. The responsibilities involve close collaboration with BCBAs and Behavior Interventionists to deliver intervention plans, conduct detailed assessments, write thorough progress reports, and develop individualized programs tailored to each client's unique needs.

This position is integral to ensuring program fidelity and data accuracy through supervising Behavior Interventionists and regularly conducting data reliability and fidelity checks. The professional in this role also plans and leads monthly progress update meetings with families and the program team to ensure ongoing communication and care coordination. Additionally, the individual will assist in designing and delivering targeted intervention activities aligned with treatment plans and provide essential parent education to empower families in supporting the development of their children.

The role requires meticulous documentation of evaluations, treatment notes, progress reports, exit summaries, and all participant-related documents. Continuous professional development is emphasized as the role demands keeping current with new research, trends, and best practices related to autism, applied behavior analysis (ABA), special education, and early intervention fields. The position also includes providing ongoing competency-based training for staff, participating actively in meetings, in-services, and treatment planning sessions.

Excellent communication skills are essential for maintaining professional and courteous engagement with participants and their families, promptly addressing any concerns with the case supervisor. The role also demands a high level of discretion and confidentiality due to the sensitive nature of working with vulnerable populations. Overall, this position offers a unique opportunity to contribute meaningfully to the lives of individuals with autism spectrum disorders, working within a supportive, mission-driven organization that values diversity, innovation, and excellence in service delivery.
