The Inpatient Clinical Staff Pharmacist will work primarily evening shifts, from 3 p.m. to 11:30 p.m., on a full-time basis with rotating weekends shared among the team. In this position, pharmacists will be actively involved in patient care activities including pharmacokinetic monitoring, providing education and recommendations to healthcare providers, participating in quality improvement initiatives, and precepting pharmacy residents and students. This ensures a well-rounded role that combines clinical expertise, mentoring, and continuous learning.

Candidates for this role must possess a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy degree and be eligible for licensure as a pharmacist in Virginia. While all applicants are being considered, preference is given to candidates with hospital experience.
