Its healthcare branch specializes in providing nutrition and clinical services tailored to meet the specific and often complex needs of patients in medical facilities. The organization emphasizes employee development, inclusivity, and sustainability as core elements of its mission. Aramark believes in creating an empowering work environment where employees can grow their talents and contribute meaningfully to their communities and the planet.

The role of Director of Clinical Nutrition at RWJBH Children’s Specialized Hospital in New Brunswick, NJ, represents a significant leadership opportunity within Aramark Healthcare and the broader hospital system. This full-time position offers an annual salary range of $125,000 to $145,000, reflecting the importance and level of responsibility associated with the role. The director will oversee a large interdisciplinary team of registered dietitians working across inpatient, long-term care, and outpatient settings, focusing on pediatric patients with unique and chronic healthcare needs.

This entails managing departmental budgets, ensuring compliance with hospital and Aramark policies, and delivering high-quality nutritional care that meets the medical, developmental, and psychosocial needs of children. The director will lead performance improvement projects, research initiatives, and development of nutrition care protocols and education resources, especially in areas like chronic illness and diabetes management. Leading and developing staff through hiring, orientation, evaluations, and competency assessments will be critical, ensuring the team consistently provides cost-effective and patient-centered care.

This leadership role also demands collaboration with hospital administration and dietetic internship programs to foster an environment of learning, quality, and innovation. Aramark Healthcare encourages candidates with a passion for pediatric clinical nutrition who hold Registered Dietitian Nutritionist credentials and preferably CDCES (Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist) certification. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years of clinical dietetics experience, including supervisory responsibilities, and experience managing nutrition staff across multiple facilities. This position may include direct clinical caseload management as needed.

Staff working within Aramark Healthcare, especially in demanding hospital settings, can expect a workplace culture oriented towards skill development, adaptability, and impact. Aramark’s comprehensive benefits package includes medical, dental, vision, retirement savings plans, paid time off, parental leave, and disability coverage, promoting the well-being and work-life balance of its employees. Furthermore, Aramark is dedicated to equal employment opportunity and embraces diversity without discrimination.

Overall, the Director of Clinical Nutrition position at Aramark Healthcare offers a rewarding career path for nutrition professionals seeking to lead innovative clinical nutrition programs in pediatric healthcare.
