This institution emphasizes a collaborative and culturally diverse workplace, fostering care and cooperation among its staff and patients alike. The hospital serves a broad demographic, addressing complex patient needs with a focus on innovation and continuous improvement. It strives to uphold the highest standards in health care services and patient safety, ensuring a supportive and professional environment for both employees and community members. The facility employs state-of-the-art resources and maintains rigorous standards to meet healthcare regulations and accreditation requirements, thereby guaranteeing a superior quality of care for its patients.
The role available is for a Clinical Nurse B in the Inpatient PCU/Tele Unit working full-time on the night shift. This position may offer eligibility for a $9,000 sign-on bonus, which adds a significant incentive to join the team. The Clinical Nurse B utilizes discretion and independent judgment to deliver comprehensive, age-specific, and developmentally appropriate nursing care both directly and indirectly within the unit. This role entails performing the full nursing process, including assessment, care planning, intervention, and evaluation, guided by the institution's Professional Practice Model based on Duffy’s Quality Caring Theory. The nurse is expected to embrace new knowledge and improvements in practice areas relevant to their specialty and the patient population served. The candidate must exhibit strong interpersonal and professional skills that enhance customer service quality and patient safety. The role includes functioning effectively within a mixed skill environment, supervising and delegating tasks to licensed and unlicensed staff members. Responsibilities also involve contributing to a positive, culturally diverse work environment and may include participation in an on-call rotation depending on departmental needs. Additionally, after proper orientation, the nurse may serve as a Shift Coordinator, overseeing unit operations during shifts. The role is designed for nurses aspiring to grow professionally, with opportunities for promotion to Clinical Nurse-C classifications following the program outlines and meeting criteria on the Clinical Nurse Ladder. This opportunity provides significant scope for professional development, skill mastery, and the ability to impact patient care outcomes positively while working in an esteemed healthcare facility.
