We are currently seeking a Technologist to join our team at the UT Knoxville Medical Center in Knoxville, Tennessee. The Technologist position at Labcorp requires a strong command of routine and complex technical procedures, along with the capability to operate and troubleshoot laboratory instrumentation efficiently. This full-time role follows a Monday to Friday schedule from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm, with rotating weekend shifts, ensuring comprehensive coverage and continuous laboratory operations. A competitive $4,000 sign-on bonus is offered to external candidates.

In this role, the Technologist will play a critical part in verifying specimen acceptability, preparing and evaluating new reagents or controls, and reporting accurate test results to support clinical decision-making and patient outcomes. The position demands a high level of technical expertise, attention to detail, and adherence to safety protocols, including the correct use of personal protective equipment. The technologist must also maintain equipment, perform preventive maintenance, and adhere strictly to quality control procedures to uphold laboratory standards.
