This role is for a Medical Laboratory Technician/Clinical Laboratory Scientist under general supervision, whose main responsibility is to perform both routine and more complex technical laboratory analyses. Candidates will interpret and report test results essential for patient diagnosis and treatment. This involves performing chemical, microscopic, and bacteriologic tests, utilizing established procedures and protocols to ensure accuracy and reliability. The technician will be responsible for operating complex electronic equipment, computers, and precision instruments required for laboratory testing. Maintaining the accuracy of laboratory equipment and reagents through preventive maintenance and quality control procedures is also a core responsibility.

The ideal candidate will assist healthcare providers in selecting the most appropriate lab tests, ensuring the lab’s proficiency testing programs are met, and actively contributing to the maintenance of safety standards, including the proper storage of hazardous materials. Job Requirements

  • Associate's degree or equivalent years of education
  • no experience required

  • ability to use vision and depth perception to identify colors and distances near and far frequently

  • possession of a relevant professional license or certification such as Medical Laboratory Technician or Clinical Laboratory Scientist credentials
  • state licensure valid in Illinois, Missouri, Oklahoma, Wisconsin or related states

Job Duties
