Currently, Affirmed Home Care is experiencing substantial growth in its Pediatric Division and is seeking a highly qualified Clinical Executive Director (RN) to oversee and spearhead clinical operations across New Jersey, New York, and Connecticut. This pivotal leadership role offers a competitive annual salary ranging from $120,000 to $130,000, based on experience, and requires a dedicated nursing professional passionate about pediatric care and healthcare leadership.
The Clinical Executive Director will be based in Rochelle Park, New Jersey, with frequent travel to the agency's offices in Manhattan, Long Island, and Connecticut. This role is designed for a dynamic and experienced Registered Nurse who excels in managing high-acuity pediatric cases and skilled nursing teams within a home care environment. The director will play an essential role in fostering a high-performing clinical team and ensuring the highest standards of patient and family-centered care. They will provide clinical leadership during daily stand-ups and team huddles, focusing on skilled nursing needs, coaching, and problem-solving to support nursing staff effectively. Operationally, they will oversee all pediatric clinical cases, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and visit schedules, while actively managing a caseload of pediatric patients and collaborating with teams across multiple states.
Additionally, the Clinical Executive Director will be responsible for meticulous documentation and regulatory compliance, including the timely completion of Plans of Care, Interim Physician Orders, assessments, and visit notes. They will oversee quality assurance and performance improvement processes, conducting clinical chart audits and participating in QA/QAPI initiatives to maintain and elevate care standards. A crucial part of the role involves managing insurance authorizations and authorizations workflows, working alongside physicians, hospitals, and payers to ensure uninterrupted patient care and adherence to payer requirements. The director will also lead staff development efforts, supporting orientation, competency validation, and ongoing education to promote clinical excellence among nursing team members. The role demands flexibility to support occasional evenings and weekends, reflecting the agency's commitment to responsive and continual care. Joining Affirmed Home Care means becoming part of a collaborative culture that prioritizes professional growth, compassion, and quality care, with comprehensive benefits and advancement opportunities available to leadership team members.
