CHRISTUS Santa Rosa Hospital - Westover Hills (CSRH-WH) is a 253-bed hospital situated in the rapidly growing area of San Antonio. As part of the larger CHRISTUS Health system, this hospital delivers a range of specialized medical services designed to meet the dynamic healthcare needs of its community. The hospital offers advanced programs including orthopedic and surgical care with advanced spine surgery, intensive care, complex neurology focusing on stroke and neurovascular treatment, comprehensive cardiovascular care from diagnostics to open heart surgery, and vascular lab services. It further provides a sleep center, women’s health services, a newborn nursery, the CHRISTUS Weight Loss Institute, wound care, rehabilitation, and emergency services. The hospital campus also includes an Outpatient Imaging Center, an Ambulatory Surgery Center, and four medical plazas, one of which hosts the CHRISTUS Santa Rosa Family Medicine Residency Program and Family Health Center. The role offered is a full-time Nursing Services Manager position, responsible for overseeing nursing staff and the nursing services department. This pivotal leadership role focuses on implementing and monitoring nursing programs that ensure the delivery of safe, quality, and efficient care to patients and their families. The Nursing Services Manager will establish consistent nursing policies and standards across the organization, monitor patient outcomes and nursing care quality, and lead staff training and development. The position requires collaboration with medical staff, department heads, and administrators to support nursing service strategies.
Beyond clinical oversight, this role also has significant responsibilities in financial management, human resources, relationship management, performance improvement, leadership, and compliance with clinical policies and healthcare regulations. The manager will handle budgeting, resource allocation, employee evaluations, conflict resolution, and motivation, fostering a positive work environment inclusive of diversity and professional growth. Emphasizing quality care and regulatory compliance, the manager will assess customer satisfaction, promote safe workplace practices, and lead quality improvement initiatives based on evidence-based nursing care. They will also manage clinical policy adherence, healthcare ethics, and regulatory compliance, ensuring the hospital meets evolving healthcare laws and standards effectively.
Candidates are expected to have a Bachelor of Science in Nursing with a preference for advanced degrees in Nursing, Health Administration, Business Administration, or related fields. Clinical experience with patient care and healthcare leadership experience are essential, alongside maintaining an RN license and certifications such as Basic Life Support. The role requires a blend of clinical expertise, leadership acumen, and strategic thinking.

Job Requirements
- Graduate of a Registered Nursing program
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing required
- Master’s degree in Nursing, Health Administration, Business Administration, Nursing, or related advanced degree preferred
- Minimum of 3-5 years of clinical patient care experience in a relevant setting
- Minimum of 2 years of healthcare leadership
- RN license in good standing in the state of employment or a compact state if applicable
- Registered Nurse (RN) required
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support required
- Willingness to relocate
- Ability to work full time 5 days a week 8 hours per shift
