The current opportunity is for a Full-Time Clinical Dietitian at Chesapeake Regional Medical Center in Chesapeake, Virginia, a reputable hospital known for its commitment to exceptional patient care. The Clinical Dietitian role at this facility offers registered dietitians (RDs) order-writing privileges for all enteral nutrition and oral nutrition interventions, empowering them to provide timely and effective nutrition care. The position includes a competitive salary range of $70,000 to $80,000 accompanied by a $5,000 sign-on bonus, reflecting Aramark’s dedication to attracting experienced and passionate nutrition professionals. Employees will enjoy a flexible schedule Monday through Friday with rotating weekends every fifth week, supporting a healthy work-life balance.

In this role, the Clinical Dietitian will be responsible for assessing patients' nutritional status, developing individualized nutrition care plans, and providing education and counseling to patients and their families. By collaborating with interdisciplinary healthcare teams, the dietitian will contribute to the development and implementation of clinical protocols and best practices that enhance nutrition care and improve patient outcomes.   • Bachelor's or master's degree in nutrition or related field
  • Registered Dietitian (RD) certification or RD eligible
  • At least one year of clinical experience preferred
  • Licensed Dietitian in Virginia or able to obtain within 6 months
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary healthcare teams

Job Duties

  • Assess patient's nutritional status and develop individualized nutrition plans based on medical history and current health status

  • Monitor patients' progress and adjust nutrition plans as needed
