Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum 1 year experience in call center or laboratory setting
  • strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • typing proficiency of at least 35 words per minute including 10-key
  • ability to work efficiently under pressure
  • commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality
  • willingness to comply with safety, compliance, and quality control protocols
  • ability to work full-time during first shift

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • 1 year of experience working in a call center or laboratory
  • exceptional communication skills
  • proficiency in typing at least 35 words per minute including 10-key
  • ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • associate’s degree or medical assistant training preferred
  • 2+ years of laboratory training or experience in specimen collection and processing preferred
  • data entry experience in a production environment preferred

Job Duties

  • provide patients, clients, and the laboratory team with exceptional service over the phone
  • work in a call center environment
  • process billing claims, analyze accounts, and help callers understand their charges
  • champion safety, compliance, and quality control
  • maintain confidentiality and adhere to privacy standards
  • collaborate with team members to improve service delivery
  • handle inquiries efficiently in a fast-paced environment
