Job Description
DaVita is a leading healthcare company specializing in dialysis and other related services for patients with kidney disease, focused on providing high-quality outpatient dialysis care to those suffering from end-stage renal disease. Established with a strong commitment to patient wellness and community health, DaVita operates across the United States with numerous care centers designed to ensure patients receive compassionate, effective, and individualized treatment. Known for their patient-centered approach and team-oriented culture, DaVita strives to create an environment where both employees and patients feel they belong, emphasizing the core values of community, respect, and excellence in care.
DaVita is currently hiring a Clinical Coordinator to lead their outpatient dialysis care team, based in Salem, Oregon. This role is integral to ensuring that patients with chronic kidney conditions receive the best possible care while maintaining safety and quality standards. The Clinical Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating patient care plans, supervising clinical staff, and fostering supportive relationships with patients and their families. This position demands a leadership presence in a fast-paced clinical setting where collaboration and communication are key. The Clinical Coordinator will also oversee treatment delivery and ensure compliance with clinical protocols and safety regulations.
The ideal candidate will be a licensed Registered Nurse with at least 18 months of RN experience, including significant dialysis experience, and will have readiness for Charge RN responsibilities. The role requires flexibility with scheduling, including availability on weekends and holidays, and a capacity to manage and lead a diverse team of healthcare professionals, including Patient Care Technicians. Additionally, knowledge of computer programs such as Microsoft Word and Outlook is beneficial for handling documentation and communications effectively.
This position offers a competitive compensation package reflective of candidate qualifications, skills, and experience. DaVita supports its employees with comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance along with a 401(k) match plan. Paid time off (PTO) and options for PTO cash-out are available to encourage work-life balance, alongside paid training and ongoing development opportunities to support career growth. Moreover, DaVita recognizes the importance of mental health and family support, providing resources such as Headspace access, Employee Assistance Programs (EAP), and support for child and elder care.
At DaVita, diversity and inclusion are fundamental to every aspect of the workplace. The company is committed to equal employment opportunities and abides by affirmative action policies, ensuring that all individuals are recruited, hired, promoted, and assigned without discrimination based on race, national origin, religion, age, gender, sexual orientation, disability, veteran status, or any other protected characteristic. This inclusive approach seeks to enhance a culture where everyone is respected and valued.
Overall, this Clinical Coordinator position provides an excellent opportunity for experienced nurses who are passionate about renal care and leadership to contribute to a respected healthcare organization. The role demands clinical expertise, strong management skills, and a genuine commitment to patient-centered care, making it a fulfilling career path for the right candidate.
