The Clinical Concierge MA/LVN role at Texas Health Breeze Urgent Care's Burleson location offers a unique and rewarding opportunity for healthcare professionals to contribute directly to patient care and enhance the consumer experience. This full-time position involves working three 12-hour shifts weekly, with rotating days, weekends, and holidays, supporting multiple urgent care locations. The Clinical Concierge serves as a vital part of the urgent care team by guiding patients and their companions throughout their visit, ensuring smooth throughput and clinical excellence from registration to discharge.
This position encompasses a wide range of clinical and administrative duties, including patient registration, collecting payments, measuring and documenting vital signs, performing laboratory tests, assisting providers during procedures, and managing supplies. The Clinical Concierge works under the direction of the Site Manager and collaborates closely with providers and other clinical staff members to deliver efficient, compassionate care. The role demands not only technical competence, such as proficiency with electronic health records (specifically EPIC) and clinical skills such as venipuncture and medication administration, but also excellent interpersonal skills. Professionals in this role must demonstrate discretion, good judgment, diplomacy, and a strong customer service attitude to build trust and comfort with patients and guests.

Job Requirements
- H.S. diploma or equivalent
- Successful completion of a Medical Assistant education program or Vocational Nurse program
- Six months of previous healthcare facility clinical experience as LVN, MA, CNA or other patient care experience, or internal THR MA externship training program
- Certified or registered medical assistant or licensed vocational nurse in Texas upon hire
- BCLS certification maintained every 2 years and required within 30 days of hire
- THR urine drug collector training maintained every 5 years and required within 30 days of hire
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Successful completion of a Medical Assistant education program or Vocational Nurse program
- Certified or registered medical assistant or licensed vocational nurse in the state of Texas upon hire
- Six months of previous healthcare facility clinical experience or completion of an internal THR MA externship training program
- Previous experience with electronic health records preferred
- BCLS certification required within 30 days of hire
- THR urine drug collector training required within 30 days of hire
Job Duties
- Collects identification and payor related documentation, conducts registration using EPIC workflow
- Measures and documents vitals and communicates the resulting data to the consumer and provider, including temperature, pulse, oxygen saturation, respiration, blood pressure, height, weight, and pain level
- Documents chief complaint, allergies, health history, and current medications accurately in EPIC for review by provider
- Performs and documents laboratory testing and collections per provider orders and/or standard operating procedures, to include venipuncture with prior venipuncture competency check-off
- Administers and documents oral and intramuscular medication using the appropriate medication verification workflow
- Assists provider with procedures to include but not limited to maintaining sterile field, laceration repair, I&D, and application of ortho-goods and assists with ortho-glass application
- Behave in a professional and empathetic manner to build trust, comfort, understanding, and relationships with consumers and secondary guest(s) and in-line with patient experience standards
