The Clinical Concierge role at Texas Health Breeze Urgent Care is a vital and dynamic position designed to enhance the consumer experience during urgent care visits. This full-time position requires the Clinical Concierge to work three 12-hour shifts weekly, including rotating days, weekends, and holidays, with scheduled hours between 7:45 a.m. and 8:15 p.m. The Clinical Concierge acts as a clinical and administrative liaison, guiding patients and their secondary guests through the urgent care process from registration to discharge. Responsibilities include patient registration, clinical assistance during examinations and procedures, x-ray and laboratory testing, and medication administration. The individual in this role must be proficient in electronic health record systems (specifically EPIC), perform diagnostic x-rays within the licensed scope of practice, and aid healthcare providers in delivering timely and compassionate care.

Moreover, the Clinical Concierge role encompasses duties such as collecting patient identification and payment, documenting vital signs, health history, and current medications, assisting in procedures such as laceration repair and application of orthopaedic goods, and maintaining inventory of medical supplies. The position prioritizes professionalism, empathy, and efficient workflow to build trust and comfort with patients, ultimately contributing to a superior patient care environment. The Clinical Concierge operates under the supervision of the Site Manager and collaborates closely with clinical staff and healthcare providers. This role not only demands a solid clinical foundation but also strong customer service skills, good judgment, discretion, and the ability to respond promptly to emergency situations.

Texas Health Breeze Urgent Care supports professional growth by offering specialty training commendations, the opportunity to earn contact hours for certification renewal, and a supportive team culture with strong unit-based council involvement. Benefits for Clinical Concierges include comprehensive health coverage options, 401(k) retirement savings, paid time off, paid parental leave, tuition reimbursement, and student loan forgiveness programs, promoting both personal and career development.
