Job Description

Texas Health Breeze Urgent Care is a leading urgent care provider dedicated to delivering exceptional healthcare services to North Texans. Designed with the community's needs in mind, Texas Health Breeze Urgent Care offers timely and efficient treatment for most minor illnesses and injuries, including allergies, earaches, sprains, and strains. Operating every day of the year from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., patients benefit from little to no wait times and the convenience of leaving most visits with medications in hand. Supported by Texas Health, one of the region's largest health systems, Texas Health Breeze is expanding rapidly with plans to open 20 locations in the Dallas Fort Worth area by summer 2021. This growth reflects the organization’s strong commitment to accessible, affordable, and high-quality urgent care for its communities. The urgent care centers have earned several accolades, including being named Best Urgent Care/Walk-in Clinic by Dallas Morning News in 2024 and multiple Reader’s Choice awards from local publications. Additionally, Texas Health Breeze Urgent Care has received the Commission on Ambulatory and Urgent Care Quality (CAUCQ) Specialty Training Commendation, emphasizing its dedication to clinical excellence and outstanding patient experience.

The Clinical Concierge role at Texas Health Breeze Urgent Care is a full-time position based primarily at the Burleson location but requires floating across multiple Texas Health Urgent Care sites. This role works 3 twelve-hour shifts per week on a rotating schedule that includes days, weekends, and holidays, with operational hours running from 7:45 AM to 8:15 PM. The Clinical Concierge plays a pivotal part in enhancing the patient journey through the urgent care process by providing clinical support, facilitating smooth throughput, and ensuring clinical excellence at every touchpoint. Responsibilities include assisting providers with clinical care and treatment, performing laboratory testing, diagnostic x-rays, and medication administration, as well as handling patient registration, payment collection, rooming, and discharge processes. The role demands a high level of discretion, good judgment, diplomacy, decision-making skills, and a strong customer service mindset to build trust and lasting relationships with patients and their guests. Additionally, all Clinical Concierges are expected to maintain competency in all assigned functions and perform these duties on a rotating basis alongside other clinical staff and under the guidance of the Site Manager.

This position requires solid clinical experience, including prior work as a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN), Medical Assistant (MA), or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), along with specialized training such as non-certified radiology technician (NCT) registration, basic cardiac life support (BCLS) certification, and urine drug collector training. Candidates should be prepared to engage with electronic health records, perform x-ray procedures following safety and exposure protocols, and assist with orthopedic applications and emergency care as needed. Texas Health Breeze Urgent Care offers a collaborative, supportive work environment with opportunities for professional growth, comprehensive benefits, and access to continuing education through its CAUCQ specialty training commendation. Employees in this position may also earn contact hours applicable toward renewing medical assistant certification during orientation. In addition to financial and health benefits, the organization fosters a strong team culture driven by a robust Unit Based Council focused on innovation and quality patient care.
