The Clinical Concierge position at Texas Health Breeze Urgent Care in Lewisville, Texas, is a full-time role requiring 3 twelve-hour shifts per week, including rotating days, weekends, and holidays. This role is uniquely designed to enhance the patient experience by guiding consumers and their guests throughout the entire urgent care visit. The Clinical Concierge plays a critical role in maximizing throughput and delivering clinical excellence within the facility. Responsibilities include assisting healthcare providers with direct patient care and treatment, facilitating laboratory and x-ray procedures, performing patient registrations, collecting payments, rooming patients, and managing discharges. This position requires flexibility as the Concierge may float across multiple Texas Health Urgent Care locations. The Clinical Concierge works under the supervision of the Site Manager and collaborates closely with providers and clinical staff to ensure outstanding patient outcomes.
In this multifaceted role, the Clinical Concierge combines clinical skills with customer service expertise. The position demands high levels of professionalism, discretion, good judgment, diplomacy, decision-making capabilities, and a positive customer-focused attitude. Beyond medical duties, the Concierge is expected to maintain competency in all assigned tasks through continual training and development, including adhering to safety protocols, maintaining supply levels, and performing quality assurance checks throughout the facility. This position provides valuable hands-on experience with electronic health records (EHR), procedure assistance, medication administration, and diagnostic imaging within a collaborative and resource-rich environment.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of approved NCT training program
- Successful completion of a Medical Assistant education program or vocational nurse program
- Six months previous healthcare facility clinical experience as LVN, MA, CNA, or other patient care
- Six months previous x-ray experience or completion of internal Texas Health NCT training program
- Registered NCT by Texas Medical Board upon hire
- Licensed vocational nurse state of Texas if LVN upon hire
- Other certified or registered medical assistant in lieu of MA education or certification
- Basic cardiac life support maintained every two years
- Texas Health urine drug collector training within 30 days of hire
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of approved NCT training program
- Successful completion of a Medical Assistant education program or vocational nurse program

Job Duties
- Collects identification and payor related documentation, conducts registration using EPIC workflow
- Measures and documents vitals and communicates the resulting data to the consumer and provider
- Documents chief complaint, allergies, health history, and current medications accurately in EPIC
- Performs and documents laboratory testing and collections per provider orders
- Administers and documents oral and intramuscular medication using appropriate workflows
- Assists provider with procedures including maintaining sterile fields and laceration repair
- Performs diagnostic x-rays following established protocols and ensures proper documentation
- Behave in a professional and empathetic manner to build trust and comfort with consumers
- Welcomes the consumer and secondary guests with professional greetings and inquiries
- Recognizes and notifies provider immediately of emergent patients and assists with emergency care
- Schedules primary care referrals for consumers
- Maintains office supplies, medical supplies, and medications at appropriate levels
- Performs quality checks throughout the facility according to established policies
- Other duties as assigned
